周顺,南开大学学士,中国科学院高能物理研究所博士,德国慕尼黑马普物理研究所(洪堡学者)、瑞典皇家理工学院博士后。现任高能所理论室副研究员,研究方向为基本粒子物理学与粒子天体物理学理论 。现任高能所理论室副研究员,研究方向为基本粒子物理学与粒子天体物理学理论 。著有专著《Neutrinos in Particle Physics, Astronomy and Cosmology》。
报告摘要:Neutrinos are the most elusive elementary particles in our Universe. In this talk, I will first summarize what we already
know about neutrinos, and what we would like to know in future. Then, the important role played by neutrinos in
astrophysics will be highlighted, and recent progress in the studies of supernova neutrinos and ultrahighenergy cosmic
neutrinos will be reported. As an important cosmic messenger, neutrinos are becoming a very useful tool for us to learn
more about the Sun, core-collapse supernovae, and the extremely powerful cosmic accelerators.
